Private Training Sessions
Behaviour or Manners consults
Are you struggling with your pet's behaviour? Feeling frustrated, ashamed and just not enjoying your time together? Or maybe you just need a helping hand with the basics? The Muttz Matter team can help you to improve your relationship by supporting you in better understanding each other and addressing undesirable behaviours through compassionate, fun and ethical teachings for you and your pets.
Puppy / Rescue Rascal consults
Bringing a new pup or rescue dog into your home? These sessions are designed to set you and your new furry family member up for success. Covering decompression, appropriate socialisation, enrichment, foundational skills, building confidence, cooperative care, creating calm and management of species-typical behaviours. Don't have your pooch yet? That's okay, we can help you to prepare to ensure you get off on the right paw!
Where: Your place or public venue as applicable!
How long: Initial 1-1.5 hours | Follow Up 45 mins
Cost: Initial $150 | Follow Up $120 | $20 Rescue Rascal discount offered off the initial session to all dogs adopted from local rescue organisations

Dog Walking / Walk & Trains
An Initial in-person meet and greet is essential when booking our walk or enrichment visit services.
Walks
Do you lead a busy life? Are you injured and unable to get out and about at the moment? Does your dog need additional support in the form of decompression walks? Or perhaps you just want your dog to get out and about and be fulfilled and ready to snuggle when you get home. Our walk service may be just what you are looking for!

1 Dog Initial $55 | Follow Up $45 | Package 4 sessions $180
2 Dogs Initial $70 | Follow Up $60 | Package 4 sessions $220

Walk & Trains
Do you need some additional support perfecting a skill or want your dog to learn something new whilst you're at work? On a walk & train, we will help your pooch to progress with a training plan of your choosing. Possible skills such as loose lead walking, recall, attention to handler, confidence building, calm protocols, trick training or cooperative care behaviours.
Please note an in-persons check-in is required after every 4th session to ensure you can be kept up to date with your dog's progress and learn the necessary skills to ensure the progress they make transfers into their everyday life. (This check-in will be charged at the initial session rate)

Enrichment Visits
Break up your pet's day with our enrichment visit! Whether you need a hand with toilet training, progressing with a training plan or just keeping your pet mentally stimulated and fulfilled. Our visit will combine basic training with enrichment activities and puzzle games, to ensure your furry family member is having fun. Enrichment visits are perfect for pets recovering from injury, who might find the outside world too overwhelming, or pups who just can't quit hold on all day.

What’s included: The opportunity for your pet to go outside and potty, fun and stimulating activities, and a long-lasting snack when we leave. As well as pictures of our time together and a digital report card from every visit!
Our enrichment visits are highly customisable, please get in touch if you have something specific in mind!
Transport
Need a hand getting your beloved pet safely from a to b? Whether it is a drop off at daycare, the groomers or vets you can trust that our crash-tested car crate will keep your pets safe!
Where: Pick up and drop off at a specified location.
Cost: Minimum charge $30, plus an additional $0.5 per Km outside of 10km radius of Belmont. (One way)
What’s included: Notification of pick up and drop off, plus a tasty snack for the ride if appropriate!
Training Club
Join our fun, flexible and supportive training club! Tailored to supporting pet dog owners with self-paced learning and a social atmosphere!
The drop-in style classes mean you can come as often as you'd like for however long you would like.
Work your way through beginner, intermediate and advanced training skills, developing a strong bond with your dog, learning real-world skills and having fun along the way!
Where: Dogs Refuge Home - 30 Lemnos St
When: Fortnightly on Wednesdays @ 5:30pm from the 26/06/24 Cost: $250
What’s included: 10 class pass cards, training treats samples, IMDT qualified training instructor and a social supportive learning environment. Training club members may also participate in our fortnightly social walks for no additional cost.
Social Walks
Our Social Walks will be open to existing clients only, with a focus on building confidence and helping paw-rents maintain their pup's progress and skills in real-world scenarios. Social walks will provide a safe environment for your dog to explore, socialise and learn.
Where: Black Swan Island - Tidewater Way Car Park When: Fortnightly - 9am Sunday, starting from the 23/06/24
Cost: Non-training club members $30 per session, payable by card on the day. For club members, social walks are redeemable at no additional cost as part of your 10 class passes.
Please note: Not all dogs will be suitable for social walks depending on where they are at in their training journey.
